THE PITCH:
The account manager is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships. This position will act as a main point of contact for clients. This person works to understand and satisfy customers’ needs, resolves their issues in a timely manner and consistently delivers a positive customer experience. The account manager is expected to build long-lasting, profitable relationships with clients, always striving to find the services which best fit the specific needs of individual clients. This position reports to Director of Account Management/Project Management.
THE ROLE:
- Eats, breathes, and sleeps today’s digital & mobile consumer, with one goal in mind to develop brand-specific strategies that, ultimately, help them sell.
- Understands comprehensive clients’ business and category, with the ability to translate business problems into digital strategies and solutions
- Well versed in common marketing & media principles with a strong understanding of the social media platforms and their ecosystems.
- Ensures the needs of clients are being met and strives to identify and resolve potential obstacles or performance issues before they arise.
- Establishes, build and manage new and existing relationships with major brands and businesses to ensure they adopt as many SG’s services as possible
- Develops and delivers presentations aligned to the SG principles highest standard.
- Communicates to Strategy, Creative, or other client teams , whether delivering Client feedback or providing a POV.
- Ensures client relationship health is closely tracked and communicated to leadership on a regular basis.
- You communicate and anticipate production costs, logistics, watch-outs, and what ideas are doable / not doable within a client budget.

REQUIRED SKILLS / REQUIREMENTS:
- 3-5+ years of account management experience in a creative advertising agency is strongly preferred
- Experience in the entertainment, luxury, nautical/marine and/or property management industry is strongly preferred
- Creative and ‘out of the world’ mindset with experience in campaign planning and idea generation
- Brilliant communication skills
- Sets stretch goals and holds self and others to high standards of performance.
- Consistently acts with integrity and invests in building trust with all colleagues and clients

WORK SCHEDULE:
You must be able to commit to a full-time work schedule, which is 40 hours per week during 9am-6pm EST business hours Monday-Friday; with intermittent client based commitments at their location sometimes before or after these normal working hours.
